Strategies for Minoritised Women in Leadership

Online

Overview

While there has been a gradual increase in the representation of women from minoritised groups (Black women, LGBTQ+, Women with Disabilities etc.., ) in leadership positions, the journey toward true equity remains a formidable challenge. Minoritised women often find themselves in the position of being ‘the only one, the first one or the other one’ in an organisation or team. This means they face unique barriers in their pursuit of senior roles, navigating not only gender but also other biases related to their intersectional identities and experiences in their leadership journey.

Many talented minoritised women experience imposter syndrome, which can hinder their progression and confidence in rising to leadership positions. This empowering course is specifically designed to equip minoritised women with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to overcome doubt, break through systemic barriers, and excel as influential leaders.
